- Ashirvad Flowguard Plus CPVC 90° Elbow Brass bridges the gap between CPVC piping systems and threaded plumbing fixtures. This hybrid fitting features a CPVC socket connection on one end for solvent welding to CPVC pipes, and a brass female threaded connection on the other end for attaching taps, showers, geysers, and other threaded fixtures. The 90-degree configuration allows for right-angle transitions from pipe to fixture. The brass threaded insert is securely molded into the CPVC body, creating a permanent, leak-resistant connection point. The corrosion-resistant brass ensures long-term reliability when connecting to metal fixtures, while the CPVC body maintains compatibility with the complete Flowguard Plus system. Essential for fixture connections, appliance hookups, and transitioning between CPVC and threaded components.

Installation Guidelines
- Pipe Preparation: Cut CPVC pipe squarely; deburr and chamfer at 10-15° angle
- Socket Connection: Clean pipe end and socket; apply CPVC solvent cement; insert pipe with quarter turn and hold 30 seconds
- Thread Preparation: Wrap brass female threads with 3-4 layers of PTFE tape in clockwise direction
- Fixture Connection: Hand-tighten threaded fixture into brass insert; use wrench for final 1-2 turns; do not over-tighten
- Testing: Allow 24 hours curing before pressurizing; check for leaks at both connections
